The big flood of December 1933. This picture shows 9 Mile Creek taking out both the Union Pacific and Northern Pacific Railroad tracks and part of the 6th Street bridge over the South Fork of the Coeur d' Alene River in Wallace. Wallace is especially susceptible to flooding because three creeks and the river all converge here. |
