Abstract Ranger Will Morris led his crew in fighting fire near Graham Creek off the North Fork of the Coeur d' Alene River. After escaping the fire in their area, they watched the coming fire storm from across the Silver Valley. It approached Wallace coming over the Coeur d' Alene - St. Joe divide. For more on Ranger Morris and his crew go to the Staff House Museum in Kellogg.
