Description 
The fire blew up in the west and raced along the St. Joe - Coeur d' Alene divide following Ed Pulaski and his crew as they fled for their lives. The crew went by Lake Elsie and along the ridge line around the southern end of Striped Peak. Image 1: Lake Elsie after the fire. The lake is named after Ed Pulaski's daughter Elsie.
