Ed Pulaski invented the Pulaski tool, still used today by firefighters.
Image 1: Pulaski tool, owned by Ed Pulaski. This is the original tool invented by "Big Ed" Pulaski, and bears the initials "EP" stamped into one side of the axe head and "FS" stamped into the other side. Handle is stamped "USFS" with reddish paint or stain near the axe head. The original pulaski tool is on loan from the Pabst family. WDMM Collection.
