Abstract Archaeological objectives:

1) Help tell the story of Pulaski’s role in the 1910 Fire for both the scientific and public communities;

2) Support the construction and maintenance of the Pulaski Tunnel Trail under the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966;

3) Preserve the archaeological materials for the future through archival research, mapping, inventory, excavation, and analysis according to a research design and public interpretation plan.
