| Description |
Hand Steel Rotating Tool - This tool was used to rotate the hand held drill steel (item L2009.09.006) so that the drill steel would not excessively vibrate when hit with a hammer. A heavy hammer, drill steel and rotating tool were an essential tool kit for driving mining tunnels. |
