Description Saw, Crosscut - This portion of a crosscut saw blade may be similar to the one that Ed Pulaski pulled from a cabin up Placer Creek to cut downed trees out of the trail as they raced down the mountain to find safety. This blade, missing the handles, was found near the cabin and it is unlikely that Pulaski or someone else carried up the hill from the adit and buried it.
