Description Combined with a hammer and the rotating tool (L2009.09.005) two men could drill a number of holes (how many?) each day in the solid rock face of a mine tunnel. Once the holes were drilled they were packed with gun powder or dynamite to break up the rock face so the tunnel could be lengthened along the ore body.
