| Abstract |
The Worstell family built a new two story brick building at the corner of Seventh and Bank Streets for their furniture store in 1909. The original wooden building built in 1888 by William Worstell was moved down the block adjacent to the new building. Bruce Worstell ran the store with some help from his brothers, Attorney H. E. Worstell and Probate Judge Lawerance Worstell. The new brick Worstell building became a key location in the fight to save Wallace. |
