| Abstract |
Around 9 PM on August 20, 1910, a fire brand carried by gale force winds landed on a refuse pile and old solvents stored behind the Wallace Times building located at 713 Bank Street; and the fire was on. It rapidly spread to the other wooden structures on the east end of town. |
